The Ethical Decision Making Process

OVERCOMING ETHICAL DILEMMAS

THE ETHICAL DECISION MAKING PROCESS

When you have to make an ethical decision stop and think and ask yourself the following questions:

  1. Is what I'm about to do legal?

  2. Can I or anyone else be hurt?
  3. Am I doing this just to try to be cool?
  4. How will my parents and family feel about my decision?
  5. Will I feel proud or ashamed about my decision?
  6. Am I following the "GOLDEN RULE"?
"Treat others the way you want to be treated"

Always remember to think before you act or speak!

Remember, everything you say and do affects you and the people
around you!
