Justice Office Programs and Services |
Prison and
Jail: This program serves incarcerated men and women.
It also reaches out to their families and brings a sense
of hope and reconciliation to the many lives that often
lose faith and hope in themselves, others and God.
- Juvenile
Justice: This program offers at-risk youth an opportunity
to learn about self-esteem, respect for themselves
and others, and making good choices. "Making
a difference….One child at a time." It also provides
a program for parents called "NEW HOPES" -
Helping Other Parents Experience Support. This is
a community support program created by parents for
parents.
- Victims
of Crime & Violence : This program reaches
out to victims of crime, violence and human trafficking. As a victim, a
person may feel angry, violated, and revengeful.
Having
someone
to listen and act as an advocate is very important
to the well being of the victim.
- Law Enforcement:
Law Enforcement Officers are affected in many ways
by dangers and stressful situations they face every
time they go to work. Law Enforcement Officers see
more trauma in one year of their career than most
people see in a lifetime. Many suffer with Post Traumatic
Stress Disorder and have to learn to cope with the
aftermath of a critical incident. The Criminal Justice Office provides this law enforcement outreach to agencies, officers and their families.
